I'm on! An Optus technician turned up this morning bright and early to crawl through my bedroom and connect me! and yes I'm talking about the internet.. He was here less then 5 mins (typical man!).. So why this couldn't have happened on Wednesday when it was booked for and I'd taken the day off is just one of those 'fucking ISP's' things..
Now I'm on and now I've managed to get my Airport to converse with my Modem - they weren't having a bar of each other this morning but a kind reconciliation agent based somewhere in India actually helped for once!
I'm off now though to cook up a storm for my best friend and her husband.. tonights menu a Tagine of morrocan spiced lamb, sweet potato, green beans and a lemony/garlicky cous cous..
