Diary of a Lady of Leisure

Yawn... Stretch.. Kick dog off bed.

Stumble to bathroom - stand on scales. Not bad. Not great. Can't remember now what it was.

Gear up - head to gym. Work out on the elliptical for around 30 mins. Survey the breakfast - decline - though it looks delicious.

Drop gym bag at home and then head out for a run. 15mins into the run regret not having breakfast. Next to impossible to do a morning 40 min run on an empty stomach. Struggle on - sprint up that motherf&*ker of a hill. Get home. 550 calories burnt in exercise. Head straight to the Sultana Bran and have something to eat goddamnit!

Shower - then head into the Valley in search of the perfect jacket/bolero to wear over the dress at the wedding on Saturday. Spend most of the time shopping wishing that you could sew your own clothes because you know exactly what you want but it obviously doesn't exist in the real world. Ponder if you should of been a fashion designer. Consider a TAFE course in sewing and pattern making. Chalk that up to yet another career direction you should of taken if you didn't run away and join the circus.

Come home empty handed from shopping trip. Make yummy asian chicken soup with buk choy.

Head back to gym around 2. Go into Japanese Bathhouse/ day Spa. Get kit off and spend an hour and a half alternating between steam room, hot tub, cold plunge pool, sauna, detox box (infrared sauna) and so on and so on. All in the nuddy - except for a towel. Forget it's cold and miserable and raining outside.

Beauty therapist comes to advise you - while you are reading, sipping herbal tea and eating a crisp green apple - that she will be ready for you in 5 mins.

Head to therapy room - gown off - get sprayed with 'Sun Kissed'. Dry then head on home avoiding rain drops and puddles..

Make a pretty damn fine Rogan Josh with lamb and HOMEMADE chapati. Consider being a chef as a career option. While curry is simmering away - compose email to Executive Producer about what career direction you should take. Say the words that you are now ready to pursue Producing. Obviously not producing in reality TV because seriously that is a no brainer! Hence why those producers never never never move out of the genre.

Get Texan to proof the email and make a small change. Hit send and then immediately think 'What if he thinks I'm a wanker!' Panic for 30 mins.. Get over it. Watch a certain reality program and further convince myself I want no part of it anymore.

Look forward to the following day with more of the same. Loving the rain..
